For example at an interview for Google, there were questions like:How many money you would require to wash all windows from Seattle? or How many golf balls can have spce in a bus?Behind these odd questions,it’s not a matter of wrong or right answer, that’s not the point, because some questions don’t have a right answer.Or some of them have more right answer,it’s about how many solutions you can have in a short matter of time.

Others might be technichal like :You have seven coins which weight the same and the eight weights a bit more. From two weighing how you can figure out which one is harder?

Now some sample lateral thinking problems:

1) Many shops have prices set just under a round figure, e.g. $9.99 instead of $10.00 or $99.95 instead of $100.00 . It is assumed that this is done because the price seems lower to the consumer. But this is not the reason the practice started. What was the original reason for this pricing method?

2)A man holidaying abroad fell off a yacht into deep water. He could not swim and he was not wearing anything to keep him afloat. It took 30 minutes for the people on the yacht to realize someone was missing. The missing man was rescued two hours later. Why didn’t he drown?

So we have to destroy all preconceptions and think free. For more useful info you can search for Edward de Bono’s lateral thinking, also here(http://www.scribd.com/doc/23481248/Edward-de-Bono-Teach-yourself-to-think)or Michael Mikalco(Creative thinking).

During the last decades IQ was crucial in previewing the academic future of a young man.Nowadays, there are many websites that in exchange for 5 euros you cand find your IQ,after of course 90 question query.People get obsessed by how to raise their IQ that it has come to appear books on the open market about how to deal with IQ tests and miraculous formulas and recipes for this.

However in the last few years, emotions got a bigger importance in the study of future students or employees so high qualifications aren’t enough to ensure a good job in some domain. It’s important what motivates us,if we have goals, how we understand with each other, how we respond to stress, what we like or hate, and how we can controll our thoughts in conflicts. For evaluating approximately were your EQ is follow this:http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyoureqquiz/

The premises of the emotions are in the right hemisphere. This is no doubt of huge importance in almost every job we have.A special case, however is math. This component has been neglected for centuries in our education, but now few neurologists and educators consider that to be creative you must leave your judgements away at leats at start and find new connections between ideas, theorems and to start building your world. For that the traditional way of doing math must be destroyed, and lateral thinking is one of the solutions.

And even more recently consciousness is a new way to determine our capacity of absorbtion .If we’re not attentive to our environment,at school, with kids,at home with our family ,fewer our chances to build something new in our life,be it in math,in architecture, cooking,or whatever you want. One conational scientist has made probably the greatest discovery in terms of psychology, the consciousness factor, his name is Ovidiu Brazdau, you can find him with a search on Google. But Chinese, where their religion was buddhism, and zen mastering, were the math pioneers in our world.they knew this unwritten secret 2500 years ago.

Like our body cannot process toxic waste, also our brain doesn’t add useless information,or it rejects after a short period of time.

Math is presented starting with primary school as a huge pile of knowledge which we must digest as we know, and we are really stunned when teachers tell us that this things are obvious, but it might be obvious for them but not you.Because they had decades to learn and clear the whole garbage in their heads. Now I don’t want to offend anybody and neither generalize but this is large problem in the whole world.

The purpose of my work here is to try to clear a bit these things, and also for those enlightened in this field to develop a new world by math which extends to infintiy and covers almost everything.
