Printable Number Flashcards
Kids start learning numbers at different ages. If you have a toddler, you can start to teach numbers creating fun games counting objects. Start with 1, 2 and 3 by counting items at the kitchen table, items outside like pine cones, or toys! It’s important that your child start to understand that the number “1” relates to one item and so forth. Once your child has a very basic understanding of number concepts, you can start to teach how to read and write numbers. Just like sight words are important in reading, recognizing numbers and counting is important in math. The printable number flashcards below are in a large format (4 to a page) and cover numbers from 1 to 100 in an easily printable PDF.
Have your child practice looking at each number, saying it aloud and then maybe relating it to the number of items on a table. This way you tie everything together!
